  • Trace additives: MgO (0.1-0.5%) for grain growth inhibition
  • Optional doping: ZrO₂ (3-5%) for toughening effect
  • Thermal Characteristics
  • Continuous service temperature: 1500-1650°C
  • Thermal conductivity: 20-30 W/(m·K) at 1000°C
  • Specific heat capacity: 0.88-1.05 J/(g·K)
  • Thermal shock resistance (ΔT critical): 200-250°C
  • Manufacturing Processes
  1. Powder Preparation: High-purity alumina powder (D50: 0.5-1.2μm) with controlled particle size distribution
  2. Forming Techniques:
  • Dry pressing (for simple geometries)
  • Isostatic pressing (complex shapes)
  • Injection molding (high-precision parts)

Sintering Profile:

  • Temperature: 1600-1800°C
  • Atmosphere: Air or reducing
  • Holding time: 2-4 hours
